"Before the racing season, I had a number of challenging projects to do on my Ultimate 20 sailboat including a keel box rebuild, carbon mast track repair, bow lip repair and completely refinish the bottom. My name is Dennis Holmstrom. My wife Sylvia and I own a 1998 Sabre 402 Sailboat. January of 2012 we hauled out to do various repairs to the boat. Anacortes Rigging, Ian Sloan, was hired for a portion of the repairs, to de-rig and dye test the mast, repaint and repair the spreaders, install a Leisure Furl Boom, complete with a new head sail, new boom vang, and a new Anderson electric winch. We were very happy with all their work , they gave reasonable bids and stuck with the costs even though in a few cases they ran in to extra problems. We had a few small problems after the work was completed, they were there promptly to make everything right. They were very accommodating and friendly. We certainly would contract with them again and have referred them to others and will continue to do that in the future.

We chose Anacortes Rigging to replace our rigging and chain plates and to do other boat work before an extended offshore cruise. By the time we arrived in California, it was clear the boat was rigged to withstand a lot and we have had no concerns with the work. In addition to doing great work, the team at Anacortes Rigging was extremely professional. They are well organised and don't require constant monitoring. They clearly communicated what needed to be done and even provided continued support when we were in Mexico. Thanks and thanks again for the quick turn-around on the standing rigging for our little Cape Dory Typhoon. We showed up out of nowhere and dropped off the upper shroud, ordered a pair, and while we shopped for other gear, had lunch & ales at Rock Fish, we came back to find that everything was finished. We got the boat in the water and everything was perfect. I'm back in New Mexico now, but the rest of my family will be able to sail all summer. Great service, friendly & knowledgeable people, and a beautiful pair of shrouds!
