Our latest adventure is the F18 class, and our Hobie Tiger “Temptress”. The F18 class is one of the fastest growing classes in the country, and for good reason. Fast, fun, exciting, and competitive.
Ian and Joy Sloan live in Anacortes WA. Ian, a native of Annapolis MD, moved to Anacortes in 2005, and started Anacortes Rigging in 2007 when he saw the need for premium rigging and yacht services. Joy was born and raised in Bellingham WA, and began sailing in Anacortes in 2002. They sailed their J27 “Stranger” in local and regional crewed and doublehanded races until she was sold in 2010. Recently they acquired an F18 catamaran which now consumes any free time that they may have had.
In addition to sailing, Ian and Joy are avid disc golfers. Joy enjoys photography and videography; her YouTube videos have gained popular acclaim in the NW. In addition, Joys photos have been published in Sailing World magazine and many Northwest print and web publications.
